Bread is used in almost all Iranian dishes. Iranians use different types of bread, the most important of which is Sangak bread.
This village lady is baking traditional bread, which is called Tiri bread. Thiri bread is rarely found in big cities and its cooking method is not simple.
It may seem simple, but it requires a lot of skill (I tried and could never bake even 1 loaf of bread).
The shelf life of this bread is high because it is dry, so it can be stored in a cool place for up to 1 month or more without spoiling.
I live in Shiraz, but I have a country house near Persepolis. If you are interested in traveling to Iran and are interested in learning more about the culture of the people of this region, leave a comment. (This lady's home is in a village about 50 km away from Persepolis)
Stay tuned, I will soon upload a video about the cooking method of other Iranian breads.
