SUBSCRIBE🤘 How to record high-quality audio from any device into the Zoom H6, or other Zoom handy recorders. You can record audio from your smart phone, computer, tablet, tv, or audio interface into the Zoom H6. This is helpful when you want to sample/record a section of audio from a video, for example, playing on your computer or phone.
This is great for recording samples from YouTube, movies, songs, etc... and then using them in a sound-board for a podcast or radio show, or incorporating into other projects, like video. Keep in mind you may require certain rights to use content you sample. Do your own research.
You can use a 1/8" stereo cable, or 1/8" to 2 1/4" cables, or two 1/4" cables. It all depends on what you are recording from.
This is also a great way to record audio from Pro Tools or other DAW. You can even plug in a mic into one of the XLR inputs to do voice-over while you are recording from Pro Tools or your computer. This works well for tutorials, and podcasts.
Here are some cables from the video (any brand will work)
1/8" Stereo Cable (I suggest getting a long one)

Any 1/4" audio cable will work for plugging in to an audio interface. You can find all these cables at other stores too.
