My name is Casey Cloward i'm the owner of Raykon Construction. We are a high-end custom home builder here in the Utah Valley area and beyond.
One of my goals as a business owner is to make it feel like we are set up and managed appropriately for each client in each situation i said it many times and i'm gonna say it again we don't micromanage i am not one to come out and control the talent of those around me i think that some of our trade base and some of our contractors that work with us have flourished through that opportunity that we've presented and and it's exciting for me to see their talents come out and and it's exciting for for them to be able to be a part of such an amazing project [Music] working on this project with casey and ray khan it was been amazing casey is involved throughout every step of the way we definitely have all the freedom that we need that's accessible to us casey lets us be involved as much as we want to be with the clients [Music] working with casey to me it's always a pleasure on this project particularly i remember he introduced us to the homeowner that she's also a designer and it was an immediate click and that's what i like probably the most with casey he's is very enthusiastic on every project and he is able i don't know how he does that but he's able to bring that and it's contagious.
I think anytime you get a call from recon saying they want you to work on a project you kind of naturally get a little excited about it because you know they're only wanting the best of the best to work on their homes it's exciting to know that when casey wants you to work on a project he's going to give you some freedom to have a little creativity involved he's going to give you some direction obviously because the client and him have a vision of where they want to go but he knows you're really good at what you do and so he wants you to use some of that creativity to come out with an incredible end project and end goal
Our 2022 Parade we've called it the Alpine Horizon is one of our favorite homes that we've built as we come through the front door and come in into this big nice open space with the staircase on the right hand side and the beautiful ceiling treatments and fireplace wall treatments with the built-in cabinetry and the tile work and the high-end Da Vinci fireplace insert the commercial grade structural skylight right above the main kitchen area very well thought out very well designed there's just so many elements that it kind of gives that wow factor
Working with the Raykon team was a really good experience when i have a question i i have to do is just ask and i notice they work so hard to make it happen and we did it on this particular project which is the first time we've worked with raycon it went so smooth i can't say enough good things about casey and his team he really paved the way for us to make sure that whatever small part of the total project that we had a part in we were able to put our fingerprint on it and i think at the end of the day everyone was pretty pleased with what we came up with at the end of this project most importantly the homeowner
So in this Hansen home we did everything from structural to stairs to any form of a supporting piece on the structure i've extremely enjoyed the relationship that we've had with Raykon construction every piece of what they do is built on a team there's active communication everyone is really just connected throughout the whole thing in working with Raykon i feel like we're allowed to do some of our best work in the creativity and the scale of his builds it allows us to really shine and show what we can do there is not a better feeling to be able to come into a finished home after thinking through all of the pre-planning all of the challenges that go on for a year plus of time to come into this home when it's all furnished when it's quiet and nobody's around and to just get that sense of completion we're very proud of our team and the effort that was put into it and we feel like this house has turned out perfectly.
