Yvonne is an Assistant Lecturer at Lancaster University and the host of The Writing Life. A writer of short stories, personal essays, radio dramas and screenplays, Yvonne's research and writing explore degrees of truth, legacies of the past and letting go. Yvonne researches and crafts her first historical fiction novel about reuniting the African American/Black American family after the Emancipation; emphasizing the importance of bringing people back together in more than ever connected world.
