This week Jess, Dame, and Rod make a start on the electric dinghy for Brupeg. We start with a recycled Inflatable dinghy alloy hull and with the rubber pontoons stripped off, our mission is to rebuild the tubes in 2mm alloy. You can't buy tubes this big so we have made a set of tubes up from flat aluminum plate that we had rolled for us. Over the next few weeks, we figure out the maths and fabrication techniques to finish the pontoons and make it electrically powered.
