Put on your lab coats, folks. Today we’re cooking from 1911’s Scientific Cooking! The recipe itself is very scientific if my scientific you mean mixing mayonnaise with chicken. Ok, sarcasm aside, there is also a leaf of lettuce in the sandwich. So…science? Also, in the video I mention that Lucille Ball, who was born in 1911, is responsible for us even knowing about Star Trek today. That’s because the production company she and her then husband Desi Arnaz, Desilu Studios, was the company that produced the original Star Trek TV series. And it was Lucille Ball who went to bat for it not only getting the initial pilot episode made and aired, but a second pilot episode made and aired when the first one flopped.
