Tied my 2nd highest score in this comp and was actually recording it.
1st here's the Pickeral Markers Coordinates:
Spot #1
[15.20, -58.11]
Spot #2
[7.66, 64.85]
Spot #3
[-17.58, 81.47]
Spot #4 Bloodworm on a #10 hook (last-minute tiebreaker catch)
[30.01, -99.21]
Slap on a #10 hook and bloodworms, fish 10-15inches deep. ONLY fish this if you have 1 minute or less left as a normal cast for a chain would take longer. This comp has several ties, so a 1-point fish can bump you up nicely providing you don't have time for another chain pickerel.
2ndly, this is how I fish it:
Sunny Conditions. I do a 3 Fish rotation.
1st thing I do is always jump in the boat and cut across. Then I'll cast for 3 chains at spot 1 and then I would move over and get 3 at spot 2 and another 3 at spot 3, alternating between 2 and 3 per cast. In the first hour, you want to aim for 3-4 trophies (1 per spot 1-3). During the 2nd hour, it's mostly catching common and the slowest of the 3 in-game hours. Try to get 2-3 commons per spot that hour rotating after each catch. Then as you enter the final hour. The trophies will be re-spawning so you want to hope to catch another 3-4 trophies during that period. I go back and do the same rotation as I did in the 1st hour.
In Rainy conditions, it's a lot slower and I only do 1 minor change. I go down to 2 fish at the start per spot and rotate after 2 throughout the comp. And also 2nd hour I switch after each catch (when not lazy) lol
During the rotation: A unique will USUALLY hit at any given time at any of spots 1,2, and 3. So don't wait too long for it. The main thing is to keep moving often. I finished 2nd the other day without a Unique. Uni is a nice bonus find.
This is the competition where I've called out a win before entering it. The last time I called out a win, I was talked into streaming it. It was Sunny and ended up with another Gold. I had to back up a little banter.
I hope this all made sense. If you have any questions feel free to ask No question is dumb but I may have a chuckle within. lol
🤞 Good Luck and Good Fishing!
🤟Thanks for watching! 🤟
