What is the future life of Nikon Nikkor f-mount lens? Are they any good for the new Z camera bodies, via Nikon’s FTZ adaptor? This video tests the Nikon Z6 with my Nikkor f-mount AF-S 70-200mm f2.8E FL ED VR lens. Both video and stills were taken and the results are here in this video.
At the time of shooting this video, in Australia, the F-mount lens is $1000 AUD less than the Z-mount equivalent. The f-mount lens produces great results. It is similar in size and weight to the Nikkor Z. In the future, when the Z lens is more available, I will make another video comparing the 2 lens, f-mount vs z-mount 70-200mm f2.8.
