In this video I’m going to show you how to reset the timing chain tensioner’s on your 4.7 3.7 V6 and V8 model Dodge , Jeep and Chrysler’s (yes the Dodge Durango has the same engine in it as your beloved jeep) lol

So if you own an automobile with one of these in there I can assure you that the reset procedure on the timing chain tensioners is the same and each one of them.

I can also tell you if you’re able to get the main plastic timing chain tensioner reset you are doing very well it is extremely common for them to break so don’t be upset when it does they’re not that expensive most of the tensioners in this engine are between $40-$50 each and easily found. It is also not very common that the chain stretches it’s generally common that one of the tensioners go bad. These engines also have a tendency to drop valve seats and that is extremely common in the V-6 and the V8 models. I have a procedure that illuminates this from almost any possibility of ever happening so if you need that done you’re more than welcome to send your cylinder heads to me and I will fix them so they don’t break in the future. (Very affordably I might add)
