In mid-February, there was a collaborative effort between KCMO's Animal Health & Public Safety Division and Kansas City, MO Parks and Recreation Lakeside Nature Center to rescue a red-tailed hawk that flew through a resident's plate glass window. After rehabilitation, this hawk was released back into the wild on March 3, 2015.
