Feeling tied up in knots after a long day? This restorative yoga pose is my favorite way to unwind and decompress.
The Plow Pose gently stretches the back, shoulders, and hips, releasing built up tension. It calms the mind, reduces stress, and helps you feel centered again.
As you exhale, slowly lift your legs over your head, using your core strength to support your body weight.
Place your feet on the ground (advance) or on an elevated surface like a pillow, stool, yoga block, etc.
Relax your neck and breathe deeply as your back receives a therapeutic stretch.
Hold for 30 seconds to a minute, then slowly roll back down vertebra by vertebra.
You'll feel looser, more relaxed, and ready to tackle the rest of your day with ease.
