Senor Buscador is the most notable New Mexico-connected horse to run -- and win -- at Churchill Downs since Mine That Bird won the 2009 Kentucky Derby. The hard-luck 4-year-old colt earned his first graded-stakes victory in the $300,000, Grade 3 Ack Ack, earning a shot at the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile at Keeneland. We hear from owner Joe Peacock and trainer Todd Fincher afterward. Note to New Mexico media; While Señor Buscador has not run in New Mexico, he has spent much of his career training in the state at Ruidoso, Sunland, Zia and Albuquerque with Todd Fincher.
