This preschool flower song, A Little Seed, is a fun spring song for toddlers and preschool kids. Based on the poem by Mabel Watts, A Little Seed is a fingerplay and scarf song that babies, toddlers, preschoolers and Kindergartners love. I’ve even used it with 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade children who love it as well! Scroll down for the lyrics. ( I did not write this song, but have learned it over the years from various educators. ) Also see below for links to more Miss Nina Springtime videos.

LYRICS (based on the poem by Mabel Watts )
A little seed for me to sow.
A little soil to help it grow.
A little sun, a little shower,
A little wait – and then, a flower.
