In August during our 16-day backpacking trip to Mexico, we spent 4 days in Tulum. We stayed in Tulum centro, which is a few kilometres from the beach, but by renting bikes we managed to get around fairly easily in Tulum. During our stay in Tulum we visited Cenote Calavera, Gran cenote, the archeological site Tulum ruins, and one of the many beached in Tulum; Playa Paraiso.
