Salvatore "Sammy the Bull" Gravano (born March 12, 1945) is an American gangster who became underboss of the Gambino crime family. Gravano played a major role in helping the prosecution sentence John Gotti, the crime family's boss, by agreeing to testify as a government witness against him and other mobsters in a deal in which he confessed to involvement in 19 murders.
Originally a mobster for the Colombo crime family, and later for the Brooklyn faction of the Gambino family, Gravano was part of the group that conspired to murder Gambino boss Paul Castellano in 1985. Gravano played a key role in planning and executing Castellano's murder, along with Gotti, Angelo Ruggiero, Frank DeCicco, and Joseph Armone.
He lived in a world most of us could never imagine. He survived situations that live in the darkest parts of your imagination. Sammy "The Bull" Gravano invites us to listen as he tells the whole truth about his life as the underboss of the most powerful mafia organization in the United States during the 80s and 90s.

There's your world, and then there's my world.
You think you know what it's all about, what I'm all about.
What do you think? What do you know?
You think I'm just a killer? I'm a rat?
I'm not just a headline in the news.
I was part of a family, a brotherhood, a secret society.
They were everything to me.
I was loyal, dedicated, respected and feared.
Now as I look back, I think to myself, "There were things I always wanted to say, but I have never said before up until now."
