Ingredients:
4 chicken leg quarters (Fill pot with water approx 2-3 inches above chicken)
1 cup onion
5 cloves garlic
1 tsp celery seed
black pepper and granulated chicken bouillon to taste
1/2 cup celery
1/2 cup carrots
2 chicken bouillon
1 small can cream of chicken soup
salt to taste
*Simmer 1 - 1.5 hours
Dumplings:
1.5 cups flour
1 pinch salt
1 egg
1/2 cup water (may need more)
little extra flour for kneading
Cabbage:
1/2 head of cabbage
1/4 med onion
8 oz smoked sausage
3- 4 cloves garlic
1 tbs bacon fat (optional)
granulated chicken bouillion to tatste
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
