This has been something I've been able to do since I was about 7 years old. Originally I was only able to bend just the pinky fingers but eventually I learned to incorporate the ring fingers into the trick and develop the finger dance altogether. :-)
Useless bit of trivia: These tricks won me the College Humor 5 Second Talent Competition at Gramercy Theater in New York.
