Presented by the Los Angeles Society of Plastic Surgeons (www.lasps.org)
Maintaining people’s looks as they age is a thankless task.
Whether it’s by plastic surgery, by cosmetics, by hormone treatments or anything else we can currently do, those who make it their profession to stave off the ravages of aging are made painfully aware, every day, that it’s a losing battle. And we know why: at its core, the main reason is that our colleagues whose focus is how people function rather than how they look are fighting a losing battle of their own.
If only we could maintain youth internally, maintaining youth externally would be relatively easy. But will the goal of eternal (or even greatly extended) youth ever be achieved?
In this talk Dr. Aubrey deGrey will explain why it may be much closer than you’ve ever contemplated.
