Basic steps involved in speech processors in coding the acoustic energy to electrical energy. This lecture provides a brief overview on the introductory part of classification of speech coding strategies used in cochlear implants and the basic processing that takes place in the speech processor of a cochlear implant. This video will be appropriate for V Semester B.ASLP students.
