Hogwarts Legacy is the newest game to feature ray tracing, and as an added bonus, DLSS 3. The difference is quite extreme in some cases, but others maybe not so much. What do you think? Subscribe if you want more!
Ray tracing is becoming more prominent in more games, but is it necessary? I can see a big difference in some scenes, enough for me to want it enabled all of the time. Hogwarts is a perfect place to wander and enjoy the scenery and ray tracing takes it to another level! The bouncing light coming though giant windows, the reflections in the marble floors, the shine of the armor as you walk down the hallway... These all add to an incredibly immersive experience. The performance is something I'll revisit after the game releases for everyone! Hat's off to the developers on this on, I think it's an excellent game 8 hours in. The video was shot with max settings, the only thing changed was turning ray tracing on and off.
