English Guide: Join us on two mountain bike tours through the Ahr Valley (Ahrtal) wine region (das Ahrtal) in Germany. Both tours were filmed during the Ahrtal Weinfest, which is every weekend during October. The 1. Tour follows parts of the Rotweinwanderweg Altenahr (Red wine trail) along the vinyards of the Ahrtal for spectacular views of the Ahrtal itself. The 2. Tour explores the wider area including the Radioteleskop Effelsberg. The tours are linked in the description below for download on the Komoot App. The Ahr valley (Ahrtal) is located off the river Rhine in the Middle of Germany. The region is known for excellent wine (especially Pinot Noir), grown at very steep vineyards. This region isn't so known to foreign tourists, if you are in Germany during the wine season (September-November) or in Spring go check it out!
