This video details the installation of a Callaham Replacement Tremolo Block, and a sound comparison of the installed block with the stock Fender American Standard tremolo block. I installed the replacement block on mt 1991 Fender American Standard Stratocaster. The comparison was recorded acoustically first; this was done with a Shure BG 4.1 condenser mic aimed at the face of the guitar. The amplified part was recorded with a Sennheiser E609 guitar cabinet mic and an old Kingston solid state amp with a single volume knob. The guitar was set on the neck pickup, and strung with D'Addario EXL125 .010-.046 strings.
