Black Pumas making their second appearance in Milwaukee, at Summerfest, last night (06/22/24). Despite the intermittent rain all day – add to that a tornado warning! – they played a full setlist to a large crowd (Eric said he was expecting 10 people to show up lol). We were fortunate that the rain waited to resume until the very end of the concert. 😄 The energy from this band and their music is incredible, and the crowd always sings and dances in unison with them. Definitely a shared experience 😄 on top of that, Eric came down to the crowd during More than a Love Song and we all sang it together… another fun moment was when a fan (“Ben”, I believe) joined them on stage (at the 4:00 mark). Here’s one of my favorites from their newest album “Chronicles of a Diamond”, Mrs. Postman. 😉
