The KTM 390 Adventure is Larry's third adventure bike in three years. The CRF250L and Africa Twin were nice bikes, but he was wanting light weight, with decent power, and more technology.

After lots of review, Larry decided that the KTM looked like the leader in the small adventure bike category.

As usual, he spent lots of time reading in forums, watching lots of videos, and talking to riders with experience to identify the list of things he would want and need for this bike. When he gets a new bike he creates a full accessories list, along with the estimate cost of each item on the list... and then he prioritizes the list. The purchase order frequently changes when he finds good prices that make sense to by at the time of the best deal... and of course dependent on how much liquid cash he has available at the time.

In this video he shows you his picks that were based on his experience and riding style target... and can help guide you to your own pick list. In some categories, the market offered lots of choices... but in other categories there were very limited choices.
