Major Mukund Varadarajan of the 44th Battalion Rashtriya Rifles recently lost his life while battling against militants in Kashmir. The entire nation paid its tribute to the Major and he was laid to rest in Chennai with all the required Military honours.

The late Major's family had a surprise visitor recently in the form of Ilayathalapathy Vijay. TheThuppakki actor, we hear, spent some quality time with the major's little daughter Arsheya. The Major is survived by his wife Indhu Rebecca Varghese and his 3-year-old daughter
