The Thunderbirds welcome the Toronto Rock into Halifax for a huge North Division matchup in the NLL Game of the Week.

Both teams entered the game at 6-2 and tied atop their division, with the night's winner earning a major leg up in the playoff race. After an undefeated run during the first few weeks of the season, Halifax sustained its first loss to Toronto, and the Thunderbirds were looking for revenge in this game.

The Thunderbirds built a strong lead through the first three quarters, getting a pair of goals each from Cody Jamieson and Mike Burke. They then withstood a Toronto rally led by a hat trick from Rob Hellyer, ultimately holding on for the 9-8 victory and sole possession of first place in the North.
