I visited Merced, California, on my way down California's Central Valley, despite being repeatedly warned that there was nothing to see. Perhaps they were correct, but I wanted to see some of Merced anyway. In the end, though, they were right. Outside of a precious few nice core blocks, it was pretty depleted looking. #Merced #travel #adventure
