We revisited Cradle Mountain, this time during a SNOW event.
Our visit this time was made even more memorable when we encountered our first snow falling ( we are Queenslanders ).
We also had some cute wallabies visit our cabin and encountered many wombats in our 4 hour walk through the snow.
This place has got to be one of Tasmania's most iconic and recognised destinations. Very popular with tourists and locals its very obvious why once you visit.
With beautiful surroundings and some amazing walks for all level of walkers from short easy walks along well made boardwalks especially designed for little kids to some very challenging walks to test even the most of experienced walkers among some harsh and rugged tracks. Not to mention the added challenge of ice and snow.
Either way its a breathtaking place and some cute animal encounters are almost guaranteed with lots of wallabies and wombats and many other species calling this place home.
