Everyone knows the Alps and the Dolomites but the Velebit mountains of Croatia are one of the less discovered mountain chains in all Europe.
In this video I take you along a two day hiking track through these mountains.
We started our journey at Zavizan mountain hut and made our we to Alan mountain hut while passing Rossi's shelter.
We didn't have the to train for this hike so the 11 hour journey on day one really got to us. Thankfully the second day ended up only being 6 hours.
