I have seen so many videos on YT from people teaching beginners how to set the white balance for their videos. And pretty much all of them tell people to use a grey card to set the white balance. And yes, it usually looks better then having a white balance that is completly off. BUT, it looks like crap compared to a white balance done with a proper white card.
