The social aspect of learning is perpetuated by productive and collaborative discussions. In face-to-face classrooms, such discussions also provide on-the-spot observational data for teachers. Using an LMS, teachers can initiate thoughtful discussions using a variety of questioning techniques, allowing students to engage in robust asynchronous conversations with their peers. In this session, participants will consider ways to stimulate and measure student interaction through thoughtful and intentional questioning.
