Today I'm back at Hickories park in Owego, NY.....which is within US-4567, for another CW Parks On The Air activation. I decided with band conditions being as crummy as they have been I'd invest in a 100w field rig. I didn't want a radio the size of my already huge FTDX10, so my choices were limited. I decided to buy an FT-891, and so far I'm very impressed with it. The audio is excellent, the filtering works very well, and the form factor is great. The menu structure leaves something to be desired, but I knew that going into it. All in all, the radio performed great! Definitely a good addition to the stable.
