This is the first part of my 'secret' daily practice for the shakuhachi (尺八): robuki, tone practice, meri and playing honshirabe (本調). I have been doing this practice for the last eight to ten years, because I found it is not just a good 'warmup' but by doing these exercises daily over time they build up a solid foundation.
