This is what spring looks like in St. Petersburg in 2023.
The Neva River, the Spit of Vasilyevsky Island (река Нева, Стрелка Васильевского острова).
There is still ice on the Neva, on which it is possible (but not desirable) to walk. Especially here, where all the power of the Neva current falls on this spot - the Spit of Vasilyevsky Island, which cuts the Neva into two rivers: the Big Neva and the Little Neva.
