Today's Ebonics to English lesson seeks to correct the common error of saying, "I seen."
Instead, say, "I saw" or "I have seen" or "I had seen..."
And don't say, "We seen" either. It should be "We've seen this before" -- you get the point.
Never say "I seent it!" like that popular routine that Eddie Murphy did when mocking the types of crime witnesses we sometimes see interviewed on the news.
Also, we don't want to say "We seen" or "he seen" or "she seen" either. Should be "We saw" or "he saw" or "she saw" as the case may be.
