It uses the same TVR Cerbera V8 exhaust notes from Most Wanted 2005 but unlike the then two generations old console versions (plus PC version as well), Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, the engine sounds are at the same RPM as MW2005 so it's actually kinda nice. Not to mention many other car sounds are mostly recycled or reused in some way from the older NFS games (mainly from Underground 1 to Most Wanted 05) in this game and they all sound great.
