Here are the last trains that I got on Wednesday with @JawTooth down in Northern Kentucky at the Abner Gaines House in Walton, Ky.
The Gaines House is the oldest house in Walton and sits between both the rail lines here. It was built in the 1790`s and is open the 2nd Sunday of every month from 2 to 4. They charge $5 a person and give tours of the house and grounds. I`m going to have to make a trip down and check it out!
Train 1 is a Southbound mixed manifest on the NS Rathole with s rear DPU pushing in a hurry!
We thought that train 2 was going to be a Northbound CSX train on the Shortline, but while were waiting for it to show up, another S went through going North and we were too far from the tracks to get a close up view of it, so we shot it from the side of the CSX tracks down the hill! Lol!
Finally, we got the Northbound CSX auto rack train after waiting about 10 minutes.
The next train is a Northbound Norfolk Southern grain unit train that is high balling it up the line towards Cincinnati, Ohio and the Gest Street Yard.
Right after it went through, we got a high railer headed North and that was pretty much that on the Rathole. Usually when a high rail truck goes through, it means the trains are done for a while, and today was no different.
The final train is a long Southbound CSX auto rack headed for Louisville, Kentucky.
