Starting at the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center, he gets a taste of the history and heritage of the area, then hops back on the highway to the little town on the big lake–Washburn. In Washburn, he discovers the Washburn Cultural Center and Museum, where he learns about the place and people of the area, today known for its beautiful art and outdoor recreation.

Up next, he drives to Bayview, home to one of the most pristine beaches on Lake Superior, nestled in Bayview Park. He couldn’t resist stopping by one of the famous orchards of the area–Hauser’s Superior View Farm. Later, he ends his day trip in Bayfield, an iconic harbor town, getting the scoop on where to find the freshest fish, entertainment, and amazing accommodations in the area.
