CHAKCHOUKA is by excellence a typical Tunisian dish. So easy to prepare, and delicious.
As far as I know, this dish have been taught in Tunisian families since 6 generations.
I would recommend it with Tunisian hand made harissa and some "merguez" (Tunisian spicy sausages)
Ingredients for 2 people:
1 Onion
2 Garlic Cloves
4 Tbsp of olive oil
1 Tbsp Cumin Powder
1 Green Chili Pepper
2 Bell Peppers
4 Large Tomatoes
1 Tsp of Tomato Paste
1 Tbsp Harissa Paste
3 Bay Leaves
Thyme
4 Eggs
