Old Country Roses china was designed for Royal Albert by Harold Holdcroft, the head of design at Royal Albert during this period and first introduced in 1962 Old Country Roses China was based on the Kings Ransom China pattern from 1921, and the two designs are very similar and use the same Montrose molded shapes.
