Many of you are worried about starting your course from a UK university in September 2020. Whether the intake will happen on time or whether there will be online classes. There are a lot of things going on in your minds right now. Also, there is a lot of misinformation out there on the internet which is increasing the stress levels in students.
So we have decided to make a video, addressing all the major queries we have been receiving from students regarding the September intake.

1) How will the current situation affect students in terms of their admission to various UK universities?
We would be wrong if we say it wouldn't .
The government of UK is watching the situation quite closely and taking required measures to control the situation. The universities are also monitoring the ongoing coronavirus situation and reviewing their response in line with national and international developments.
Students and educational institutions should prepare for multiple scenarios, since there are talks of the speculation that the September intake being pushed to the month of December, but that is yet to be decided upon.
Currently, universities are working hard to ensure that the admission process and studies are not hampered by the current situation. However, they are preparing contingency plans, including options for studying remotely.

2) What next if the CAS has been received?
Students who have received an unconditional offer letter should take some time to consider whether this is the right provider and course for them, before they make any decision. You should not be worried and feel pressurized to accept these offers over others you might be better suited to.
Also, students who accept an unconditional offer will be able to release themselves as part of the UCAS self-release process to explore other options during Clearing.
Since the next step would be to apply for the Tier 4 visa, we would advise you to get your documents in order. But due to the global healthcare crisis, many UK Visa Application Centres (VACs) are closed or offering limited services.
In light of the current Coronavirus alert, the UK Visa Application Centres in India have been closed until further notice. Those who have booked an appointment will be contacted, but their appointment will be scheduled once the centre is re-opened.

3) What if the payments made?
The universities are issuing offer letters on their usual time but the Government has asked universities to stop making unconditional offers or amending existing offers for two weeks. If you accept the offer letter and pay the required amount you might need not worry about your admission. Just in case the intake gets delay by few months still you have good chance of getting VISA easily.

4) How will I know if my language test (IELTS, PTE, Cambridge Assessment English) has been canceled or suspended?
In locations where it is permitted and safe to do so, language tests were being conducted as per schedule, with additional precautions in place to help protect the health of test takers and staff. Exam centres are doing their best to ensure that candidates are able to take their tests as soon as possible once the official restrictions are removed.

5) Will I get a refund in case the course doesn’t start in September?
It is quite early to say anything regarding the September intake as the government and universities are trying their best to keep the situation under control.
