In this video I introduce my Bodenmann (Le Brassus) watchmaker's service workbench, originally made for Rolex SAV, outfitted with six cameras. In it I demonstrate how the traditional watchmaker's workbench is used with a vintage Jacot pivot polishing lathe.

In the video I state that I bought the workbench for US$ 250, but in the video you can see a price tag of 120 Chf, which is about US$120. The reason for that discrepancy is the bench in the video is not the bench I bought, even though it's exactly the same. I showed the video of that first 120 Chf bench on this channel and a number of viewers told me I was crazy not to buy it. Unfortunately when I went back it was marked as sold, and then a week later it was gone. So I kept going back until another one showed up.

To tell you the truth I think I only paid 150 Chf for the one I finally bought, but I stupidly asked Bodenmann for a replacement key for the drawer, and they charged me 120 for the key! So I now round that cost up to 250 Chf. Perhaps I even paid 250 plus 120 for the key. It's all a blur of emotions and high anxiety now. What matters is that I now have a proper traditional watchmakers' workbench!
