How to get urine smell out of carpet
This video demonstrates why it is important to reach all areas of pet urine contamination if you want to get rid of urine smell. The larger the pet the greater chance that the pee has filtered down into the carpet padding and sub floor making complete removal using homemade solutions almost impossible.
If you try to use an enzyme (the one we use [ Ссылка ] ) to sanitize the area make sure to pour enough solution onto the carpet to get the padding and sub floor wet. Dilute according to instructions on the container and make sure to THOROUGHLY RINSE the whole area. Sometimes you can use a powerful Wet/Dry vacuum ( [ Ссылка ] ) to pull up the solution once it has had enough time to “eat up” the urine.
After rinsing allow to dry to see how effective the process was. Peroxide can be used when the carpet is dry to help with residual staining and odors.
For more aggressive help with the staining try Sally's 20 Volume Peroxide [ Ссылка ] .
