We were delighted when Adidas asked us to install a concrete floor at their Oxford Street store – all 3273m2 of it. With such a complex space spread across multiple levels we definitely had our work cut out. Especially when we discovered that we would need to use three different flooring solutions spread across the four floors: Diamond Polished at street level, Polished Concrete in the basement, and Architop on the upper floors and staircases.

It was an inspiring and challenging project from start to finish – with a tight timeframe – but the team were fantastic throughout. You can see them in action laying the Architop in this time-lapse video.

Laid at 2mm thick it looks just like our polished concrete, but because it’s Architop, the weight only equates to 25kg per sqm and it was poured in one seamless process with no need for joints or a concrete pump. The results are spectacular!
