If there’s a kinder, sweeter, more adorable, generous, fabulous human than Nancy Allen, I haven’t met them yet. Nancy stepped up and said "yes," something she's been doing all her life, and speaks to her success and happiness. Her doing it today, for me, with a last-minute cancellation was a gracious gift of friendship. I cherish this woman. As always, it was crazy fun talking about everything from her early COVID experience (COVID- fun? Only when it's in the rearview, non-damaging, and fills in some COVID crazy blanks), growing up in the Bronx, to the High School of Performing Arts, dance, a bad/lucky break, commercials, Carrie, Brian DePalma, John Travolta, Sissy Spacek, Piper Laurie, 1941, Steven Spielberg, Robert Zemeckis, John Belushi, Tim Matheson, Chateau Marmont, cocaine, Dressed to Kill, Michael Caine, Kirk Douglas, Robocop, Paul Verhoeven, to WeSpark, Nancy's life’s passion, where she uses her skills, talents, and celebrity to enhance the lives of cancer patients and their friends and families with extraordinary free programs. What a woman! The time flew. Couldn’t love her more. Can't wait till I can take her out to a thank-you lunch.
