In this game, Riley set a new WR and achieved the highest score ever (at the time) on either Arcade or MAME. He surpassed his previous cross-platform WR of 1,308,000 set on May 12, 2012. This score would stand until Mike Kasper scored 1,349,000 on arcade on April 20, 2013.

As of March 2019 this is the 4th highest DK Jr. score of all-time and the 2nd highest MAME score.
