A young space explorer Maxim Kammerer finds himself a prisoner of the planet Saraksh. In the country where the hero finds himself, the militaristic dictatorship of the Unknown Fathers reigns. Everywhere there are towers-emitters, somehow controlling the population. Maxim realizes that the consciousness of the locals has been rigidly processed by propaganda.
