Perhaps one of the best kung fu fight finales, with imaginative use of the 'folding chair' weapons, this is the epic end fight scene from the Shaw Bros. classic Return to the 36th Chamber, set to another classic - a late 90's trance track: 1998 by Binary Finary. An odd result.
The significance of the bamboo scaffolding in this scene is that over the course of the movie, Chu Jen-chieh (the legendary Gordon Liu) learned kung fu by watching and practicing at the Shaolin temple while being forced to work on scaffolding, the irony being he uses these skills to defeat the greedy master on what is now 'his turf'.
