Angel (Simon Pegg) is attacked in his hotel room by Michael "Lurch" Armstrong (Rory McCann), one of Skinner's (Timothy Dalton) employees. Fortunately, Angel manages to knock him out. He then learns about a secret meeting taking place at Sandford Castle.

What’s the Hot Fuzz movie about?
PC Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) is one of the best Metropolitan Police officers. As efficient in combat as he is in investigations, Angel incarnates the perfect cop, to the point of making his colleagues look useless in comparison. To put an end to that situation, his Chief Inspector (Bill Nighy) promotes him to Sergeant, but reassigns him at the same time to the small rural town of Gloucestershire in Sandford, a regular "Village of the Year" winner. Angel becomes the partner of PC Danny Butterman (Nick Frost), whom he meets by arresting him for drunken behaviour. Butterman is a fan of buddy cop films and the son of Inspector Frank Butterman (Jim Broadbent), Angel's superior. Very soon, Angel becomes frustrated by the mundanity of the village and his lazy and incompetent colleagues. However, what he doesn't know is that a dark secret resides in the seemingly charming town.
