ERROR CORRECTION: "I love working a as CEO" on 2:10: is the object(noun), not complement(adjective). Thank you Evelyne Leblois for pointing this out!
ERROR CORRECTION: "The cat is excited by the music" on 6:46 should be changed into "The cat was excited by the music", because the sentence next to it is "The music made the cat excited", and "made" is in simple past tense. Thank you James j, for pointing this out!
This video explains what a non-finite verb is. When you add "to", "ing", or "ed" after a verb and change its parts of speech, the word is called a non-finite verb. Non-finite verbs include gerunds, to-infinitives, present participles, and the past participles. Non-finite verbs are important, because you can only use one verb per sentence; if you want to express two ideas associated with verbs, you have to change one verb into a non-finite verb. Non-finite verbs are also important, because they create a fake sentence with an understood subject and object, which are very important for accurate communication.
